The match between the Wellington Blaze and Auckland Hearts has failed to go ahead thanks to poor conditions.
Terrible weather across the North Island has continued to plague any attempt of play and ensured that the Blaze and Hearts would share the points in the Action Cricket Twenty20 competition in Wellington today.
It was shaping up to be a great match with Auckland in a rich vein of form and the Blaze hoping to get back on track after suffering three losses to the Canterbury Magicians in the previous round.
Unfortunately it never eventuated, the game called off without a ball being bowled.
Hopefully the coming days allows the teams to get out there, but with the current forecast that can't be assured.
