The BLACKCAPS created history in Christchurch by defeating Sri Lanka in the second Test to achieve a fourth consecutive Test series victory for the first time ever.
Things finished in a hurry on the final day, as Trent Boult and Neil Wagner claimed the remaining three wickets in just 14 balls to seal the 423-run win and a 1-0 series victory.

Tim Southee was named Player of the Match for his five wickets and crucial 68 runs in the first innings.
It was a match of magnificent performances for the home side with the local duo of Tom Latham and Henry Nicholls both passing 150, while Trent Bout's six wickets in 15 balls and Neil Wagner's second innings wickets played major hands in the win.
The victory lifts the BLACKCAPS to their equal highest Test ranking of number three.
