Seifert and Southee help seal series

The two Tims from Hamilton were the stars of the show at Seddon Park on Sunday night, as the BLACKCAPS claimed the PSO Carient T20I series with a nine wicket win in game two.

SCORECARD

Tim Southee swung the ball up front and snared figures of 4-21 saw to see him named the ANZ Player of the Match as the visitors were restricted to 163-6 from their 20 overs, despite the best efforts of Mohammad Hafeez who was left stranded on 99*.

As he did at Eden Park on Friday night, wicket-keeper Tim Seifert anchored the chase with another classy half-century and this time went on to finish the job - with help from returning captain Kane Williamson (57* off 42). Seifert's 84 not-out off 63 balls was his T20I best and featured eight fours and three sixes.

The teams relocate to Napier on Monday to prepare for the final match of the series at McLean Park on Tuesday night.
