Duffy dines out at Eden Park

Otago Volts paceman Jacob Duffy (4-33) was the hero of the opening PSO Careint T20 International as he produced the best figures by a BLACKCAP on T20I debut to help down Pakistan by five wickets at Eden Park.

SCORECARD

In front of a boisterous Friday night crowd in Auckland, the 26-year-old seamer coud do no wrong in his opening spell, holding figures of 3-9 at one stage as the visitors slumped to 5-39.

A calmy compiled 57 off 43 from opener Tim Seifert anchored the pursuit of 157 - which was iced by captain Mitchell Santner (12*) and Jimmy Neesham (15*), off the back of valuable cameos by Glenn Phillips (23 off 18) and Mark Chapman (34 off 20).

The series moves to Hamilton for game two at Seddon Park on Sunday night, with the final match in Napier on Tuesday.
