The Auckland Aces Champions League Twenty20 match against the Delhi Daredevils at Kingsmead in Durban has been abandoned without a ball being bowled.
The covers remained on the pitch as persistent showers saw the match washed out, leaving the sides with two points apiece.
The result means that the Daredevils go into second position in their group, keeping in front of the Aces via net run-rate, but also with a game in hand. The third placed Aces will need to win their fourth and final group match for any chance of reaching the semi-finals.
They face the Perth Scorchers early on Wednesday morning (NZ time).
