General admission for the BLACKCAPS second T20I against India at Hagley Oval on Saturday 24 October has SOLD OUT.
Tickets for the Hero VIDA India tour of New Zealand Powered by Ai+ Nova Smartphone have flown out the door at a rapid rate with more than 76,000 snapped up since going on sale one month ago.
Earlier this week the BLACKCAPS named a star-studded squad featuring several T20 specialists including the likes of speedsters Adam Milne and Lockie Ferguson, and explosive batters Finn Allen and Tim Seifert.
NZC Chief Marketing and Commercial Officer Glenn Critchley wasn’t surprised to hear the match had exhausted general public allocation.
“We always get a great crowd at Hagley Oval and looking at the calibre of the BLACKCAPS squad that was announced on Wednesday it’s no surprise fans are chomping at the bit to be front row to the action.
“It’s a unique chance to witness a re-match between the T20 World Cup finalists in Kiwi conditions. With tickets disappearing quickly, I'd encourage anyone thinking about coming along to lock in their tickets now."
“For any Christchurch fans that missed out, there are limited tickets remaining for the opening game on Thursday so there’s still time get a spot to the BLACKCAPS and India showdown."
