Jess Kerr

Jess Kerr made her WHITE FERNS debut in both ODI and T20I cricket against South Africa in the 2019/20 season.

Kerr was elevated to the national set up after strong domestic form having topped the wicket taking charts with 20 wickets in the 2019/20 Dream 11 Super Smash competition for the Wellington Blaze.

Sister of WHITE FERNS allrounder Amelia Kerr, Jess is another product of the Wellington suburb of Tawa and possesses a unique ability to swing the ball while also providing some long range hitting ability down the order with the bat.

Kerr earned her first New Zealand central contract for the 2021/22 season and was selected for her first World Cup for the 2022 ICC T20 World Cup in Australia.

She represented the WHITE FERNS in the home World Cup in New Zealand in 2022.

A teacher by trade, Kerr spends her time in the classrooms of Tawa Intermediate when not on the cricket field.
