Plunket Shield round four Code of Conduct breaches

Canterbury batsman Tom Latham has been fined $200 for a Level 1 breach of the Code of Conduct.

Latham was cited by umpires Brent Bowden and Garth Stirrat for showing dissent and swearing loudly after being dismissed on the second day of the Plunket Shield fourth round match between Canterbury and Wellington at the Basin Reserve.

Latham admitted breaching rules 1.3.1, and 1.4.1 of the Code of Conduct and accepted his sanction.

In the same Plunket Shield round, Central Stags batsman George Worker was also cited for showing dissent upon his dismissal.

Worker was cited by umpires Tony Gillies and John Dempsey for standing at the crease after being given out caught behind off Neil Wagner during the second day of Plunket Shield match between the Central Stags and the Otago Volts, at the University of Otago Oval in Dunedin.

He accepted a charge of breaching rules 1.3, and 1.3.2 of the Code of Conduct and received a written censure.
