A century partnership by State Canterbury Magicians openers Maria Fahey and Mandi Godliman put the State League champions back onto winning ways in Hamilton.
State Northern Spirit had recorded a first-ever win over the Magicians in the first game between the sides at the WINPAC Oval.
Nicole Browne and Emily Drumm had made vital contributions to that game and again made impressive innings, of 76 and 84 respectively, as ND made 195 for five from 50 overs.
However, Fahey (64) and Godliman (86) put on 141 for the first wicket as Canterbury completed their target within 34.3 overs.
